There have been and continue to be other similar systems proposed and perhaps undertaken after Nomad Eyes was invented and introduced. "Cell-All" is the latest, and the language from certain descriptions reads like text and presentation material given directly to agencies like DHS as far back as 2003 and 2004. It is great to see finally acknowledgment in principal, but it would be nice to have acknowledgement in support and cooperation. "Local Eyes" is another, and MITRE Corp. was given plenty of Nomad Eyes briefings in the same period and thereafter. "Red Cell" is yet another. and perhaps there are others - to the best of our knowledge all of these have some links to the foundational Nomad Eyes papers, presentations, and working software introduced first in 2002 by Dr. Martin Dudziak, founder and chief scientist of TETRAD Technologies Group, Inc.

The differences are significant, in that Nomad Eyes works out the issues that many have rightly pointed out to be technical and social/civil problems with some of the other approaches.
